Why are your prices so cheap?

Outdoor Hunting Sports strives to keep our overhead as low as possible so that we can offer rock-bottom prices to our customers.  We don't spend big money on fancy retail displays, catalogs or advertising.  Therefore we are able to sell products at prices far below other retailers.

How fast will I receive my order?

Standard shipping time for orders shipped by UPS ground is 2-5 workdays.

What is your return policy?

If it is necessary to return merchandise for an exchange/refund, all merchandise must meet the following conditions:

- Returned in original packing

- Returned within (10) days

- Returned in resellable condition

- Copy of invoice enclosed with merchandise

- Enclosed a brief letter of explanation

- A $10.00 exchange fee must accompany merchandise returned for exchange

- Merchandise returned for refund is subject to a 15% restocking fee

- All returns must be prepaid

- No CODs accepted

If the merchandise you wish to receive is out of stock, a refund/credit will be issued promptly.  All returns for refund paid by credit card will receive a credit to the credit card.

Can I cancel my order?

If the order has not yet shipped, you may cancel at any time.  If the order has shipped, we cannot guarantee cancellation, and you will have to go through the return process.  If you do receive an order that you wish to have cancelled, be sure to leave the item in original packing, and contact us.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.  We also accept Pay Pal, but firearms may not be purchased using Pay Pal.

Can I have an order shipped to a P.O. Box?

No.  UPS requires a valid street address and will not ship to P.O. Boxes.

How can you sell guns online?

All guns sold through Hunters Direct are shipped from an FFL holder to a local FFL holder of your choice.  Please read more here: Guns For Sale.

How are shipping charges calculated?

Shipping charges vary according to product weight and destination. We use the most sophisticated programming language to deliver real time shipping quotes during checkout based on your product weight and dimensions, direct from the shipping carriers.

Because Outdoor Hunting Sports does not inventory many of the items sold, your order may be shipped directly from one of our authorized vendors from the warehouse closest to the shipping address. The individual vendor ultimately determines the method of product shipment. Therefore, we are not able to reduce shipping charges for any reason. 

Most products are shipped via UPS because they offer package insurance and excellent tracking software. However, the method of shipment is always determined by the shipping vendor. In some cases, vendors have special arrangements with other package services such as Federal Express, Airborne etc
